Jersey City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Jersey City is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Terribly disappointed πŸ˜”!!! Went to Dear tooth fairy to show my 9 year old daughter. And the behavior of Dr. Kim was so insulting. The minute I started to describe my daughter's condition, she didn't even want to listen to me and in a sarcastic manner made fun of me(by laughing at something I said) and she went to the front desk and again repeated what I said and laughed loudly by sharing it with the receptionist. I never experienced a behavior this bad from anyone forget a well educated dentist for that matter. Also she was quite rude with my 9 year old child and made her feel extremely uncomfortable. The receptionist and the X-ray technician are nice and warm ladies, but sadly we didn't like the dentist. Hence will never go back here. Good riddance to bad behavior!! Extremely disappointed!!

Brought my 4-year-old daughter here for her first dental visit. I knew ahead of time that she would be scared and anxious, as she usually is at doctor appointments. I made this clear to the front desk when booking, during the confirmation call, and again when we arrived. They reassured me that they understood, since this is a pediatric dental office. The dental assistants were very kind, patient, and helpful throughout the visit, which I really appreciated. However, during the cleaning, Dr. Kim had poor bedside manner and came across as dismissive. While my daughter was crying (which is expected for a first visit at this age), Dr. Kim told her to β€œnot do that,” essentially telling her to stop screaming and crying, as if she could simply control it. This felt unrealistic and insensitive for a 4-year-old who was clearly scared. I was already doing my best to stay calm and support my daughter, even holding her to help make the process easier, and the overall tone of the interaction felt more discouraging than supportive. Dr. Kim also mentioned sedation as an option if my daughter could not tolerate X-rays or needed a filling. I am not comfortable with sedation for a young child, and

We switched to this clinic about 3 years ago and couldn't be happier. My child is naturally very anxious and fearful of dental checkups, but Dr. Kim is incredibly patient and supportive. Treating children is undoubtedly a tough job, but she handles it brilliantly. She also takes the time to explain the entire treatment process and goals clearly to us parents. The environment is so kid-friendly that even though my child walks in nervous, they always leave with a smile. Highly recommend!

I had a very frustrating experience at this dental office. I scheduled an appointment for my kids at 2:30 PM and even arrived 30 minutes early to make sure everything went smoothly. When I checked in, I was told they weren’t sure I was still coming because I didn’t answer a confirmation call that morning, because of that, the doctor had already left. What is the point of making an appointment if it can be canceled simply because a confirmation call wasn’t answered? I never received any notice that my appointment would be given away or that the dentist would leave if I didn’t respond. I took time out of my day and brought my children in, only to be turned away. Very unprofessional and disappointing experience. I expected better communication and respect for our time.

Took our 7 year old son. He needed his tooth extracted because half of the root was in his gum line and half was outside of it, not an easy extraction was worried we would need to go to an oral surgeon. Dr. Kim with great precision took out his entire tooth first try! No need for oral surgeon! Dr. Kim has a wonderful clear direct approach with children. Our son was relaxed and comfortable throughout his entire visit. Her dental assistant also had such a warm welcoming bedside manner which is HUGE for kids! Her office is beautifully decorated bright and cheerful! Her front desk goes over and beyond between insurance and out of pocket expenses for each visit. Goes over the treatment plan in fine detail too. For our son, his favorite part is the gum ball machine where he receives a coin to insert to get a prize for his awesome visit. For my hubby & I , it was our mind was at ease as parents because our son was being handled with the best care by the BEST! Dr. Kim you are truly amazing at what you do! Thank you!
